Iran Press/ Iran news: The Republic of Azerbaijan is one of Iran's neighbors, which in recent years has called for the expansion of cooperation with Iran in various fields, especially transport, energy and trade.

The need to facilitate the movement of Iranian and Azeri citizens thanks to the management and relative control of the COVID19, financial exchanges between the two provinces and cooperation of border provinces were discussed by the Iranian minister.
Meanwhile, Mustafayev pointed to the meeting between Iranian and Azeri presidents on the sidelines of the ECO Summit in Ashgabat as a turning point for the beginning of a new phase in relations between the two countries and stressed the role and political will of senior officials in developing cooperation.
