Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 4 more patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 141,236.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 17, 2022, 7,228,786 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 7,024,787 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 352 cases, of whom 68 were hospitalized.

768 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 51,843,709 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no city is red or orange, 259 are yellow, and 189 are blue zones.

So far, 64,457,151 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,735,522 have received the second dose, 27,360,612 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 149,553,285 doses.
