Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that COVID-19 had claimed the lives of 8 more patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 141,224.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 15, 2022, so far, 7,228,051 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 7,020,835 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 368 cases, of whom 55 were hospitalized.

737 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 51,771,715 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no city is red or orange, 259 are Yellow, and 189 are zones.

So far, 64,440,065 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,711,964 have received the second dose, 27,323,076 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 149,475,105 doses.
