Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 8 more patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 141,232.

Iran PressIran news: So far, 64,448,736 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,724,508 have received the second dose, and 27,342,216 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 149,515,460 doses.

 According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 16, 2022, 7,228,434 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 7,022,911 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 383 cases, of whom 65 were hospitalized.

755 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 51,808,446 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no city is red or orange, 259 are Yellow, and 189 are zones.
