Qatari foreign minister

Tehran (IP) - The Qatari foreign minister said that we support reaching a fair nuclear agreement for all parties because it will positively impact the region.

Iran PressMiddle East: "Our discussions in Tehran focused on stabilizing the region and entering into a regional dialogue," Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman al-Thani told Al Jazeera television.

"We support a just nuclear deal for all parties because it will have a positive impact on the region," the Qatari foreign minister said. 

Meanwhile, Iran's President, Ebrahim Raisi, officially welcomes Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani," today at the Saadabad complex in Tehran.

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, arrived in Tehran today (Thursday) at the head of a high-ranking political and economic delegation to meet with senior officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Emir of Qatar has traveled to Tehran at the official invitation of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Bilateral talks between the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Emir of Qatar, consultations between the high delegations of the two countries, and participation in a joint press conference are among the plans of the Emir of Qatar for a one-day visit to Tehran.

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran traveled to Doha in February 2022 at the official invitation of the Emir of Qatar to attend the Summit of Gas Exporting Countries, during which 14 cooperation documents between Iran and Qatar were signed by the officials of the two countries.

The development of relations with neighbors and countries in the region and friends has been declared the main priority of the Iranian government's foreign policy.

Due to its geographical location, Iran has 15 countries in its neighborhood and activating all economic, trade, industrial, cultural, and tourism capacities in relations with neighbors and countries in the region will lead to the development of bilateral and multilateral relations.

Qatar is one of the target countries with priority in Iran's foreign policy, and a review of the history of their relations shows that relations between the two countries have always been deep and growing.

The visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Qatar (February 21, 2022), which took place in the framework of the expansion of bilateral relations, was the first visit to the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, which shows the importance of relations between the two countries.
