Hamas Spox:

IP- The spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said the resistance in Gaza was cooperating with the Palestinian resistance at Al-Aqsa Mosque to take the appropriate position.

Iran PressMiddle East: Last Thursday, hundreds of Israeli soldiers and settlers raided the Al-Aqsa Mosque, desecrating the holy site.

During Ramadan, Israeli soldiers and settlers attacked Al-Aqsa Mosque almost every day and clashed with Palestinian worshipers.

In an interview with IranPress in Gaza, the spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hazem Qasim, called for a large Palestinian presence in Al-Aqsa Mosque and a confrontation with the Israelis.

The spokesman stressed that the Palestinians had thwarted the crime of the Israeli settlers' attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque last Thursday and had achieved another victory against the Israelis.

He said the cooperation between resistance in the Gaza and the protesters in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the widely present of the Palestinians in the mosque thwarted the occupiers' plan to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque between Muslims and Jews and set a timetable for them.

Since 1948 when the US-backed regime of Israel occupied the Muslim country, it has constantly been clashing with the Palestinian people, killing them, jailing them, destroying their homes, and constructing new settlements for the Israeli settlers.
