Tehran (IP) – The Vice-Speaker of the People's Representative Council of Indonesia says Iran's nanotechnology advancement is to the extent that benefits all Islamic states, including Indonesia.

Iran PressIran News: Indonesian parliamentary delegation headed by the Vice-Speaker of the People's Representative Council of Indonesia, Rachmat Gobel, arrived in Tehran on Thursday and was warmly received by the head of the International Diplomacy and National Interests faction of Iran's Parliament, Hossein Noushabadi.

The Iranian industry, mine, and trade minister held a press briefing with the Vice-Speaker of the People's Representative Council of Indonesia, Rachmat Gobel, on Saturday, May 7, 2022, to discuss various issues.

Rachmat Gobel expressed his surprise at how Iran stood firm on its feet and announced Indonesia's readiness to expand ties in economic, technology, food, and environmental fields with Iran.

Gobel stated that his country intends to expand relationships not just with the Iranian government or merchants but also with the nation.

Highlighting Indonesia's accumulated natural resources, Gobel said: "Indonesia offers its resources to be used in order to benefit both Iran and Indonesian nations."

For his part, Iran's Industry, Mine, and Trade Minister Reza Fatemi-Amin pointed out that Indonesia is the most prominent Islamic country, and Iran is interested in accelerating expanding relationship with the country.

Fatemi-Amin also underlined that Indonesia could enjoy Iran's medical, technology, home appliances, and food sectors, noting that both parties have many opportunities to cooperate.

The Iranian minister added that Iran's Chabahar Port could be the central hub for Indonesia to trade while suggesting the Indonesian delegation produce locomotives for Iran and its neighbors.206
