Tehran (IP) - The interim Friday Imam of Tehran, said on Tuesday that On Al-Quds Day, all Iranians and Muslim countries came to play to show that noeven single issue can diminishethe issue of Palestine, and Al-Quds.

Iran PressIran news: Ayatollah Kazem Sedighi, the interim Friday Imam of Tehran, said this morning (Tuesday) in the Eid al-Fitr prayer sermons that were held in the presence of Tehran worshipers at the University of Tehran:

"The sign of accepting fasting on Eid al-Fitr is paying attention to the poor and needy, and zakat is an obligation that includes all kinds of financial worship."

Zakat is a form of almsgiving, often collected by the Muslim Ummah treated in Islam as a religious obligation.

While thanking the Islamic Ummah and the Resistance Front for participating in the Quds Day rallies, he said: "On Al-Quds Day, all Iranians and Muslim countries came to play and after two years of fighting against COVID-19 showed that no issue diminishes the issue of Palestine, and Al-Quds and Palestine are alive, and the Islamic Ummah, which supports Palestine which has stood up {to the oppressors}.

Iran's prominent cleric added that the Palestinian youth have lost their lives and with their blood they have put the fake and usurping Israeli regime in a tight spot with courageous and martyrdom-seeking operations.

Ayatollah Kazem Sedighi further noted: "And their faces show that they have reached the end of the line, and that the Palestinian youth have put the Israeli regime in complete and defensive isolation by resisting from Jenin to Haifa and Tel Aviv in their courageous operations."

Referring to the recent events in Afghanistan and the double standards of human rights claimants to the issue of Afghanistan; Ukraine and Yemen said: "Human rights claimants have been devoid of human rights. We strongly urge the Afghan governing body to ensure security for the Afghan people and to identify and eliminate terrorist networks as soon as possible."
