Iran PressIran News: In a telephone conversation on Thursday, Iran's FM Hossein Amir-Abdollahian consulted over bilateral as well as regional and international issues with his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mikdad.

Amir-Abdollahian highlighted the issue of Palestine and the increasing crimes of the Israeli regime against the Palestinian people in Al-Aqsa Mosque and expressed hope that the Islamic countries and nations strongly condemn the regime's crimes and support the Palestinian nation.

The Syrian foreign minister for his part expressed satisfaction with Tehran-Damascus ties and called for holding the joint high commission as soon as possible.
