Tehran (IP) – Condemning the terrorist attack in western Kabul, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman called on the Afghan authorities to identify and punish the perpetrators of the terrorist act.

Iran PressIran news: Two bomb explosions in Qala-e-Naw and at "Abdul Rahim-e-Shahid High School" in Kabul left at least 27 dead and dozens injured on Tuesday.

On his Twitter account, Saeed Khatibzadeh wrote on Tuesday that Takfiri elements once again committed crimes and stained the soil of Afghanistan with the blood of innocent children.

He noted that these terrorists did not even keep the sanctity of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman condemned the terrorist act and called on the Afghan authorities to identify and punish the perpetrators.

Despite the Taliban's takeover, various parts of Afghanistan, especially the capital Kabul, continuingly witness security incidents.

Afghan news sources reported that the Taliban did not allow reporters to cover the blasts after today's bombings in western Kabul.

Taliban forces have seized the cameras of some journalists and mistreated them.
