Tehran (IP) - Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman says the United States' interventions on Iran's issues show how far they are from their claims.

Iran PressIran news: Regarding Spokesperson for the United States Department of State Ned Price's remarks on the release of Iran's blocked assets, Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that releasing Iranian assets and their return has nothing to do with any third party.

He highlighted that the United States is trying to intervene in any issue related to Iran, showing how far the US is from Joe Biden's claims. "What we are doing is in the definite interests of the Iranian people," he said.

"During a visit, a delegation came and an agreement was reached on the release of part of Iran's resources, and it is none of the United States' business, nor will we allow the US to go into details," the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson underlined.

Regarding the Ukrainian ambassador's remarks in Tehran that the Iranians did not help Ukraine, Khatibzadeh said that the Ukrainian ambassador should read the tweet of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister once again to understand the positions of his government.

No JCPOA deal available if all issues not agreed upon

In other part of his preser, the Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that there is no agreement available on the revival of the Jiont Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as long as all of the issues talked about between the parties are not agreed on.

Iran's international nuclear agreement or the so-called the JCPOA, was signed between the country and P5+1 countries (Russia, China, UK, Germany, France, and the US) in 2015, but the US scrapped it on May 18, 2018, re-imposing more sanctions on Iran.

Khatibzadeh stressed that the reminding issues in the Vienna talks were clarified for all, noting that as long as everything was not agreed upon, no deal was available.

Saeed Khatibzadeh made the remarks on Monday at his press conference in response to some claim in cyberspace that the lifting of the sanctions on the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) was agreed upon during the previous Iranian administration.

The eighth round of sanctions removal talks, which began in Vienna on December 27, now faces a halt. Iran, yet, has announced that an agreement is available and it is the US that must make a political decision.

He referred to the recent Israeli attacks on the worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Palestine and the desecration of the place and said that some Arab country's normalization of ties with the Israeli regime has made the regime further rude to practice more brutality against the Muslims.
