Tehran (IP) - Iranian parliament is to address the judicial cooperation over criminal issues between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Brazil.

Iran PressIran News: The open session of Iran's parliament kicked off this morning, chaired by Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf.

The agenda of the open session is as follows:

- Report of the Judiciary and Legal Commission on Draft Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Federal Republic of Brazil

- Report of the Judiciary and Legal Commission on Draft Agreement between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Kazakhstan on Mutual Legal Assistance in Civil Matters

- Report of the Internal Affairs Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the councils on the plan for the formation and activity of trade unions and specialized organizations

- Energy Commission report on Development plan and disruption of the Islamic Republic of Iran's electricity industry

- Report of the Economic Commission on the approval of the request for an investigation of the performance of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (Iran Chamber) in the last 10 years.

Iranian MPs approve draft agreement on Iran-Kazakhstan legal assistance

Iranian MPs have approved the draft agreement between Iran and Kazakhstan on mutual legal assistance in civil matters.

Hearing the report of the Judiciary and Legal commission on the draft agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Kazakhstan on mutual legal assistance in civil matters, the Iranian lawmakers approved the bill by 160 votes in favor, one against, and 11 abstentions from a total of 220 votes in the open session of the parliament.
