Tehran (IP) - The Speaker of Parliament finalized the law on the surge of knowledge-based production in line with the Leader's dubbing the new year "Production: Knowledge-Based and Job-Creating."

Iran PressIran news: The Parliament commenced its first open session after the new year holidays ( Persian year 1401), being chaired by Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf early Monday morning.

Congratulating the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf noted on Monday that it is essential to seize this opportunity by promptly approving regulations and executive instructions and supporting knowledge-based companies.

In his pre- agenda speech, Ghalibaf emphasized: "The 11th parliament from the first days of its work has paid special attention to strengthening knowledge-based production and expansion of knowledge-based companies."

He stated that the 11th parliament had paid special attention to knowledge-based production, and the necessary funds for the country's economic surge in this area have also been considered in the 1401(2022) budget.

Taking into account the budget row of 11,000 billion Tomans, the parliament has provided the possibility of fulfilling the goals and demands of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in the development of knowledge-based production by the administration as the main trustee, he added.

While emphasizing its oversight role in law enforcement, Ghalibaf said, the parliament declares its readiness to approve other legal needs and requirements in order to fulfill the slogan of the year to the administration and activists in the field of knowledge-based production.

The Speaker of parliament expressed hope that in 2022, by giving the command of the country's economy to the motivated, talented, and elite youth of Iran and by preparing the grounds for wealth-creating activities of these young people in the country could be ended.
