The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba condemned in the strongest possible terms the attack on the Al-Aqsa mosque in occupied al-Quds and the indiscriminate bombings against the Palestinian people living in the Gaza Strip by Israel’s military forces.

Iran PressAmerica: Israeli militants and settlers have repeatedly attacked various areas of Palestine in recent days, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque, martyring at least 17 Palestinians and wounding hundreds more.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla expressed his rejection of the Israeli occupation forces storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque and denounced the Israeli attacks on the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque.

On his Twitter account, Parrilla tweeted, "We condemn the Israeli forces' attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, where hundreds of worshipers, including women, the elderly, and children, were performing Friday prayers."

These attacks are a new serious and flagrant violation of the UN Charter, International Law and International Humanitarian Law by Israel as well as a continuation of the colonization and occupation of the Arab and Palestinian territories with the connivance and impunity guaranteed by the United States, which has prevented the UN Security Council from taking action.

Cuba strongly calls on the international community, all States, the United Nations, and particularly its Security Council, to demand the immediate cessation of Israel’s aggression.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba reaffirms its unswerving support for a comprehensive, just, and lasting solution to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory.  219
