Tehran (IP) - Iran's oil minister said that the country's oil production capacity has reached more than three million and 800 thousand barrels before the sanctions.

Iran PressIran News: Javad Owji, Iran's Minister of Petroleum, said in a televised interview on Thursday night about Iran's oil production capacity that Today, Iran's oil production capacity reached pre-sanctions levels.

Owji said: "In the gas sector, with the good measures taken in National Iranian Oil Company and the National Iranian Gas Company in winter, the highest amount of gas production from South Pars was 705 million cubic meters per day."

Regarding the reasons for the increase in oil sales, the Iranian Minister of Oil said: "Oil sales increased by identifying new customers and markets, using different methods in oil contracts, and using committed and specialized staff."

Oil prices in world markets have risen sharply as Russia continues to attack Ukraine more than a month ago and recent attacks by Yemeni forces on Saudi oil facilities.

Saudi Arabia announced after the attacks that it was not responsible for the balance of the oil market, which raised oil prices in world markets.
