Tehran (IP) – The first consignment of Bulgarian donated AstraZeneca vaccine, including 2,830,000 doses, was delivered to Iran's Health Ministry.

Iran PressIran News: The consignment was delivered to the representatives of the Iranian Health Ministry yesterday (Friday) at Imam Khomeini International Airport in the presence of the Bulgarian ambassador to Tehran.

The World Health Organization (WHO) said earlier that the heavily-mutated Omicron coronavirus variant poses a very high risk of infection surges that could have “severe consequences” in some places.
