Iran Press/ Iran news: Mahmoud Moghaddami remarks while hosting Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi at the Tehran Wagon Company.
According to Iran Press, Vahidi attended the Tehran Wagon Company on Monday afternoon to see the progress of the Iranian National Metro train project.
On the sidelines of the visit and in an interview with Iran Press, the interior minister stated that Iran's 7-car national subway train would operate by mid-June. Then the mass production of 105 trains would be pursued annually.
Vahidi noted that the production resources of 105 national subway trains would also be provided.
In an interview with Iran Press, Mahmoud Moghaddami also said that Tehran Wagon Company could produce up to 350 one-story subway cars and 120 two-story cars annually, which could also be increased.
