Iran Press/Iran news: At the operation of railway devices, Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development Rostam Ghasemi stressed that infrastructure in main corridors should be strengthened.
Rostam Ghasemi added that a transformation plan is underway to develop the country's transportation.
He assured that Iran would develop significantly in transportation in the next few years.
Railway CEO Miad Salehi also pointed out that rail transport is an essential route for economic growth, saying with the support of the President and the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, active wagons on the railway are increasing.
In the first three months of the year, 169 rail vehicles with the 350 billion tomans investment, and in summer and autumn, 526 rail vehicles with 794 billion tomans investment were put into operation.
