Beirut (IP) - Iran's cultural adviser in Lebanon and the Lebanese Minister of Information stressed the revival of agreements reached between the two countries in the field of media.

Iran PressMiddle East: Mohammad-Reza Mortazavi, Iran's cultural adviser in Lebanon, met with the Lebanese Minister of Information Ziad al-Makari, calling the meeting a good opportunity for the resumption of former agreements on media, television, and news cooperation. 

He said that an executive plan should be created for those agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two countries.

Mortazavi also asked the Lebanese Minister of Information to travel to Iran to revive the agreements reached between the two countries.

The meeting coincided with the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian to Lebanon.

Amir-Abdollahian met on Thursday with a number of Lebanese officials, including Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bo Habib.
