The Deputy EU foreign policy chief regarding the Vienna talks said it is time to make political decisions in the coming days to end the negotiations.

Iran PressEurope: The eighth round of Vienna talks on lifting US sanctions against Iran resumed on February 8 in the Austrian capital after an 11-day break for consultations between the delegations and their capitals in the presence of the Iranian and P4 + 1 delegations (Germany, France, Britain, Russia, and China). It has been held in various levels and formats since then.

Also, the Vienna talks have advanced due to the Iranian side's initiatives. Yet, the Western parties' procrastination to compensate for the US violation of the internationally-signed JCPOA and its ongoing maximum pressure policy against Iran indicate the West's lack of tendency to wrap up the negotiations.

The European diplomat Enrique Mora wrote on Twitter on Monday evening: "There are no longer expert-level talks. Nor "formal meetings". It is time, in the next few days, for political decisions to end the ViennaTalks.

Negotiations are taking place at the Coburg Hotel in Vienna as part of the eighth round of Vienna talks between Iran and the P4 + 1 (Germany, France, Britain, Russia and China) and the EU Coordinator.
