In a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, Iran's Foreign Minister announced his country's support for a political initiative to end the war in Ukraine.

In this telephone conversation, Iran's top diplomat wished success to the Antalya diplomatic meeting and the trilateral meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Turkey, Russia and Ukraine adding that a delegation from the Iranian Foreign Ministry will also participate in the Antalya diplomatic meeting.

Amir-Abdollahian further said: "Bilateral relations are on the path of progress and development, and in next week delegations from the two countries will travel to Tehran and Ankara in order to pursue the comprehensive development of relations."
