Iran PressIran News: The eighth round of Vienna talks to lift US sanctions against Iran from February 8 and after an 11-day interval for consultations with their capitals in the presence of Iran and the P5 + 1 (Germany, France, Britain, Russia, and China) resumed in the Austrian capital

The vast majority of delegations acknowledge that the talks are moving forward, despite the complexity of some issues.

The Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes that the more seriously the other side is prepared to lift the sanctions and the more serious the will is to accept the mechanisms envisaged by Iran in lifting the sanctions, the shorter the time to reach a final agreement.

The latest results of the Vienna talks on lifting sanctions were discussed during a telephone conversation between High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Friday, according to Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In our opinion, the main demands of the Islamic Republic of Iran have been taken into account in the forthcoming agreement, and we, as the coordinator of the Iran-P4 + 1 talks, would like to say that the talks are on the way to progress and reaching a final result," Borrell said in a telephone conversation.
