Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 172 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 137,439.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 03, 2022, 7,073,747 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,696,494 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 6,772 cases, of whom 1,321 patients were hospitalized.

4,098 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 47,494,176 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 184 cities are red, 187 are orange, 76 are Yellow and 1 are blue zones.

So far, 62,973,345 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 55,589,789 have received the second dose, 23,451,969 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 142,015,103 doses.
