Tehran (IP) -The Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced the increase of Iran's exports to neighboring countries.

Iran PressIran news: Expanding relations with neighbors in all fields, especially the economic one, is a priority of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and in this context, pursuing ways to expand bilateral cooperation has been considered by Iranian officials and neighbors.

"Mahdi Safari," the Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, announced on Sunday that Iran's exports to neighboring countries have grown significantly in the past six months.

According to Safari, Iran's exports to some neighboring countries show up to 200% growth.

The Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that the Iranian government seeks to provide overall management for the borders, which will accelerate the export process and increase it.

Safari also noted that Iran's agricultural exports to China exceeded $ 300 million, noting that an Iranian foreign minister and a Chinese foreign minister were responsible for pursuing a 25-year agreement between the two countries.

The Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran called China a suitable market for Iranian products, especially in the agricultural sector, and added that fruits, seafood, honey, and shrimp are important baskets for Iran's exports to China.

The Deputy Foreign Minister also said: "Obtaining a license to export products such as apples, kiwis and oranges will create more space for the export of Iranian agricultural products to China."

"Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh," the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Beijing, called the Chinese market very large and rich on Sunday and said: "We are talking to Chinese officials so that we can export more non-oil goods."

Iran's foreign trade has reached $ 90 billion in the last 11 months, which shows a 38% growth compared to the same period last year.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, had previously stated that working with neighbors as well as Asian countries is a priority for the 13th Iranian administration.
