Tehran (IP) - Iran's customs spokesman said that Iranian goods exports to ECO countries members increased by %51 compared to the past year.

Iran PressIran news: Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan are the 10 ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization) member countries.

 

Roohollah Latifi, Iran customs spokesman, said: "This year, Iran's trade with ECO member countries has reached more than 13 billion and 110 million dollars and weighs 24 million 758 thousand and 827 tons, which shows an increase of 41% in value and 25% in weight compared to last year."

Latifi added: In the first ten months of this year (started from March 20, 2021), more than eight billion dollars out of 13 billion and 111 million dollars of Iran's trade with ECO was related to exports.

Regarding the export of goods to each ECO member, the Iranian customs spokesman said: "Turkey, Afghanistan, and Pakistan were the main destinations of Iranian export."
