Vienna (IP) - Following the agreement of the negotiating parties (Iran and P4+1 group) in the Vienna talks, the eighth round of the negotiations was stopped for one-week.

Iran PressEurope: With regard to the announcement, the negotiating parties will return to their countries on Saturday, tomorrow, for further consultations.

The eighth round of Vienna talks for lifting sanctions is underway with the presence of Iranian delegations and the P4+1 group (Germany, France, Britain, Russia, and China) in Vienna, the capital of Austria.

Lifting sanctions, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) commitments, ensuring guarantees, and verification were the pillars of the negotiations.

Also, attending a meeting with the representatives of the Parliament's Commission of National Security and Foreign Policy, Amir-Abdollahian said no direct talks with the US were carried out in the negotiations.

The US delegation is also in Vienna negotiating with the P4+1 group.
