Iran Press/ Europe: The eighth round of talks on the removal of anti-Iranian sanctions resumed on December 27 in the Austrian capital of Vienna and the vast majority of delegations acknowledge that progress has been made in the negotiations.
Following the ongoing consultations in Vienna within the framework of the eighth round of talks between Iran and the P4 + 1 group (Germany, France, Russia, China and the UK) to lift US sanctions against Iran, Russian top negotiator Mikhail Ulyanov said that members of the P4 + 1 group met with the US negotiating team in Vienna, which is currently embroiled in internal strife, over the Vienna talks.
Tonight's meeting, unlike previous ones, was held at the Ritz Vienna Hotel. Earlier, meetings between the P4 + 1 and the United States were held at the Marriott Hotel in front of the Coburg Hotel, where talks on lifting sanctions are underway.
Verification of the lifting of sanctions and the provision of guarantees are two important issues in the Vienna talks that Iran greatly emphasizes. 219
