Iran Press/ Iran News: Gholamreza Tarighi said at the 14th edition of the Jalal Al-e-Ahmad Literary Award that the four main sections of book judging, including documentaries, feature and novel collections, short story collections and literary criticism, were reviewed.
Maryam Basiri, the scientific secretary of the Jalal Al-e-Ahmad Literary Award, said at the meeting that the quality of the books was considered by the judges in judging and selecting the best books, regardless of the names of the authors and publishers.
Ali Ramezani, CEO of the House of Books and Literature of Iran, emphasized that the range of awards in this field should be increased and if a work is selected, special attention should be paid to its author, work and publisher.
The meeting of the 14th edition of the Jalal Al-e-Ahmad Literary Award was held on Tuesday.
The award winners will be announced on Tuesday, February 1, at Vahdat Hall.
