Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 20 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 132,095.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to January 17, 2022, 6,224,196 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,066,819 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 3,163 cases, of whom 338 patients were hospitalized.

1,313 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 43,499,337 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

So far, 60,350,685 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 53,195,312 have received the second dose, 12,855,978 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 126,401,975 doses.
