Tehran (IP) - Iranian president says: "According to the reports provided in the country, there is no shortage of vaccines, both domestically made and imported vaccines, and I invite everyone to receive the third dose of vaccine to protect the health of the society more effectively."

Iran PressIran news: Speaking on Saturday morning at the meeting of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus, Ebrahim Raisi appreciated the efforts of all people involved in the country's health sector and said: "Despite the reduction of new cases and deaths, everyone must carefully follow health protocols carefully."

Stating that the closure of schools and universities and distance education were necessary for the situation since the outbreak of the coronavirus, but caused a drop in the education of students, Iran's President said: "In the current situation with the significant drop in new cases and fatality, it was decided that the classes and exams of schools and universities to be held face-to-face, which should be followed up by the relevant agencies."

Raisi appreciated the measures taken to control the traffic at the country's borders and said: "I call on all relevant officials, including ggovernors-general to continue to take care of traffic at the country's borders with sensitivity, and in particular to precisely control the entry of people."

The President continued, "The decision on the restrictions imposed on the entry of citizens of some countries in which the Omicron variant has entered Iran will be left to the Ministry of Interior and the relevant headquarters to make appropriate decisions regarding the continuation or removal of these restrictions."

Raisi also praised the scientific studies conducted on the vaccination of children against coronavirus and stated: "A good report was presented, but given the questions and objections that still remain on this issue, it is necessary to continue the expert work in this field."

Referring to the decision of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus to reopen schools and universities and said: "In the current situation with the significant drop in new cases and fatality, it was decided that the classes and exams of schools and universities be held face-to-face, which should be followed up by the relevant agencies."

Raisi added: "Whenever the outbreak of the disease changes, the National Task Force Against Coronavirus will decide and act with sensitivity and accuracy towards the new situation."

In another part of his speech on implementing the electronic prescription law, Ayatollah Raisi said: "Fortunately, today in almost 95% of cases and in some provinces up to 100%, this law is implemented successfully".
