Tehran (IP) - Considering the significant reduction in the number of patients and deaths caused by the coronavirus, Iranian President said it is necessary to maintain and improve the existing conditions, strict observance of health protocols and the continuation of monitoring procedures.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking on Saturday at the meeting of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus, Ebrahim Raisi referred to the issue of requesting sports competitions and exhibitions and emphasized: "Sports competitions and exhibitions should be accompanied by strict observance of health protocols and the limited presence. The related ministries are obliged to take the necessary measures in this regard in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Medical Education." 

The President stressed the importance of observing health protocols in public transportation, stating: "Protecting the health of the people in public transportation, especially in the metro and airplanes, is very important, and the planning of the related agencies in this field should be such that people are not harmed."

Appreciating the support of the people and the efforts of all those involved, especially the health sector, Raisi said, "Maintaining and improving the existing conditions requires the observance of all health protocols, along with strict supervision by the relevant agencies."

Raisi also stressed the need to inform the public on time in this regard, saying: "Information on issues related to coronavirus should be done only through the spokesman of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus, and no one should cause anxiety in the society by presenting personal opinions in the national media as a specialist."
