Tehran (IP) - The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that efforts to neutralize sanctions had not been postponed to negotiations in the Iranian government.

Iran PressIran news: The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, tweeted on Friday that sanctions removal is a serious agenda of the government, saying: "In the 13th government, the effort to neutralize the sanctions has not been postponed to negotiations."

Raisi added: "Today, despite sanctions, our oil sales have increased so much that we no longer have to worry and their proceeds are returning to the country."

The Iranian government has hailed efforts by the country’s oil ministry to increase crude exports in recent months, saying the issue is a source of honor for a country that has been subject to the harshest and most unprecedented sanctions by the US in the past few years.
