Iran logs 34 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 34 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 131,434.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 27, 2021, 6,186,729 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,026,495 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,967 cases, of whom 344 patients were hospitalized.

2,766 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 41,592,984 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

So far, 59,592,770 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 51,402,858 have received the second dose, 5,922,213 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 117,340,424 doses.
