Iran logs 52 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 52 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 131,400.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 26, 2021, 6,184,762 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,026,378 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,857 cases, of whom 316 patients were hospitalized.

2,774 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 41,491,521 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no cities are red or orange, 53 are yellow, and 395 are blue zones.

So far, 59,529,947 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 51,255,555 have received the second dose, 5,922,213 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 116,707,715 doses.
