Iran Press/ Iran News: On the third day of the Great Prophet 17 joint drills, IRGC Ground Forces units practiced strong defense of the coasts and islands.
Operating units of the IRGC ground force exercised the strong defense of the coasts and islands in Larak Island, southern Iran.
At this stage of the exercise, the IRGC Ground Forces successfully implemented possible offensive and defensive scenarios by using new weapons and equipment and new tactics.
After being aware of the hypothetical enemy, the IRGC Ground Forces units targeted the identified targets with heavy and semi-heavy weapons.
Anti-Heliborne operations and multi-layered defense of the islands were followed by explosion drills, using barricades and air defenses against hypothetical enemy fighters in relatively realistic conditions.
