Southern Iran (IP) - On the second day of the military drills by Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, Precision-strike assault drones and ballistic missiles hit the mobile and fixed targets of enemy including vessels, bases, and facilities on the sea and ground.

Iran PressIran News: In the IRGC Great Prophet 17 (PBUH) drills, also surface-to-surface missiles were used to hit the targets.

The IRGC forces also destroyed marine targets of the mock enemy with surface-to-surface missiles from the shorelines.

The aim of exercises on the second day of IRGC Great Prophet 17 drills was the defense of the shores including against enemies' heliborne operations.

Great Prophet 17 drills (PBUH) kicked off on Monday morning, December 20, in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the coasts of Hormozgan, Bushehr, and Khuzestan provinces.

 

The drills will be held for five days on the shores of the same areas with the participation of units of the IRGC's ground, naval, and aerospace forces, as well as some units of the Basij.
