Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 41 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 131,033.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 18, 2021, 6,169,011 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,999,860 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,361 cases, of whom 243 patients were hospitalized.

2,909 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 40,671,057 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no cities are red or orange, 53 are yellow, and 395 are blue zones.

So far, 59,062,256 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 50,190,643 have received the second dose, 3,567,037 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 112,819,927 doses.
