Tehran (IP) - Iranian nurses have an essential role in promoting the community's health, and this critical issue was well shown during the coronavirus outbreak with the self-sacrifice of nurses.

Iran PressIran news: The birth anniversary of Hazrat Zeinab (PBUH) has been named "Nurse's Day" in the calendar of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Accordingly, December 8-14 in Iran has been designated as "Nurse's Week."

Nurses play an essential role in the treatment of patients and have sacrificed their lives in the last two years in the front lines of the fight against the coronavirus.

Iran's national nurse day is an opportunity to honor health defenders whose lives have changed dramatically amid the spread of coronavirus.
