Iran Press/ Iran news: During his visit to Yazd province, central Iran, Ebrahim Raisi visited Fahraj Solar Power Plant and was informed about generating electricity from solar energy.
Emphasizing the government's support for the development of clean energy in the country, the President said, "By increasing and developing solar energy production farms, part of the country's energy needs should be met in this way."
Raisi pointed out, "Yazd province is a suitable area for developing solar energy farms due to sufficient light."
The President instructed the Minister of Energy and the Governor-General of Yazd, "Develop this successful work to meet the country's need for energy in this way."
Raisi also emphasized supporting the production of solar panels in Yazd province.
The President arrived in Yazd province to mark the twelfth provincial trip of the 13th government.
Upon arrival at Yazd airport on Friday morning, he was welcomed by the governor-general and senior local officials.
Visiting the province's projects, meeting with the elites, veterans, families of martyrs, wounded veterans, and different groups of the people, participating in the meeting of the Administrative Council, and a press conference will be the most important programs of the President's visit to Yazd province.
Raisi is accompanied on this trip by his chief of staff, the Vice-President for Executive Affairs, and the ministers of the interior, roads and urban development, sports and youth, and energy.
Yazd؛ A province with great potential
Stating that Yazd has religious people and believers in the Almighty, Raisi said, "Yazd also has great potential in the field of agriculture, industry and mines."
Speaking on Friday morning at Yazd airport during the twelfth provincial trip, Raisi said, "Yazd is a province with a lot of potentials and hardworking people whose contentment is one of their main characteristics.
Electro Kavir Factory, example of neutralizing sanctions
Ebrahim Raisi visited Yazd's Electro Kavir Factory during his provincial trip to Yazd province.
"Electro Kavir Factory is an example of a successful work that has been able to achieve sophisticated technology for the production of electrical panels with effort, Raisi said."
The President said, "This factory is an example of neutralizing sanctions, and is one of the successful examples of producing domestic products that designs and manufactures various types of industrial electrical panels in the country and exports them to all parts of the world."
Raisi also visited one of the workshops to recover historical monuments in Yazd.
He said, "Iranians living abroad are as eager to help the cultural heritage as they were interested in helping the country in healthcare."
Raisi added, "The best way to restore traditional and old monuments is to restore them with the help of the people themselves."
