Daily COVID-19 deaths in Iran decrease to 42

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 42 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 130,764.

 

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 13, 2021, 6,157,519 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,975,404 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,706 cases, of whom 442 patients were hospitalized.

3,069 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 40,157,086 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no cities are red, eight are orange, 119 are yellow, and 321 are blue zones.

So far, 58,778,763 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 49,560,783 have received the second dose, 2,745,192 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 111,084,738 doses.
