Iran's Foreign Minister:

Tehran (IP) - Iranian Foreign Minister says that neighboring countries are the main focus of the Islamic Republic of Iran in foreign policy.

Iran PressIran news: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said at a meeting of the elected heads of the Islamic Republic of Iran's representatives abroad: "The government's slogan is a balanced foreign policy and active, dynamic, and intelligent diplomacy, and the government's four-year plan has been prepared and planned in this regard." 

He also went on to say that looking at Asia is one of the priorities of the government's foreign policy, stressed: "We will pursue sustainable economic development without looking at the Vienna talks."

Amir-Abdollahian added: "Paying special attention to Iranians abroad and eliminating their separation with the country is one of the serious plans of the government."

The Iranian Foreign Minister also said: "In the coming days, we will hold the first meeting of the Council of Iranians Abroad, chaired by the President, and we hope that the approval of the law on the protection of Iranians abroad will be one of the outcomes of this meeting."

Referring to the Foreign Ministry's mission in the field of neutralizing and lifting sanctions, Amir-Abdollahian added: "In this regard, we have a duty to move with a revolutionary and jihadist approach."

The Iranian Foreign Minister also said: "We will pursue sustainable economic development without looking at the Vienna talks. However, the inherent duty of the diplomatic apparatus is to use all its diplomatic efforts and experience to lift the oppressive and unilateral sanctions of the United States."
