Tehran (IP)- The head of Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization announced an agreement with the Syrian government to resume sending Iranian pilgrims to Syria within the next 20 days.

Iran PressIran news:  Head of Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Alireza Rashidian said: "According to the new agreement with Damascus, 100,000 Iranian pilgrims will go on pilgrimage to Syria annually in the first step."

During a recent visit to Syria, the head of Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization met with the Syrian ministers of tourism, endowments, interior, transportation, and health.
