Zahedan (IP) – 'Zulfiqar-1400' joint military drills of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army ended with a parade of surface and subsurface vessels, including the all-Iranian Dena destroyer.

Iran PressIran News: The Spokesman for the 'Zulfiqar-1400' joint drills, Rear Admiral Mahmoud Mousavi, stated that the exercises were held in an area of more than one million square meters.

He pointed out that the drills aimed to enhance combat capability, defend Iran's independence and territorial integrity, sustain and strengthen an influential presence in remote international waters, improve the Army's readiness to withstand enemies' aggressions, and simulate a natural battle environment.

The 'Zulfiqar-1400' joint drill had begun its preliminary stages last week and entered its main stages on Sunday.

The drills were held using a part of the combat capability of the land, naval, air, and defense forces in a large area from the east of the Strait of Hormuz to Pasabandar on the Iran-Pakistan border and at sea up to 10 degrees north and part of the Red Sea.
