Iran Press/ Iran News:The Deputy Commander of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army, Rear-Admiral Hamzeh Ali Kaviani stated: “With the amount of equipment and weapons that exist in the Armed Forces of Iran today, the enemies must dream of having the power to violate the interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the borders of the country.”
Rear-Admiral Kaviani in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of the Zulfiqar-1400 joint military drills, said that this year's exercise has special features, adding: "This joint exercise is with the participation of the four forces of the army; therefore, in different stages of this exercise, we witnessed an extraordinary convergence and synergy between the operating forces.”
The Deputy Commander of the Navy also referred to the presence of various units of the Army, Air Force and Air Defense in the Zulfiqar-1400 joint military drills, adding: "Due to the special features of the exercise, we were able to show the deterrent power of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the enemies.”
Rear-Admiral Kaviani added: "This year, the equipment used in various stages of the exercise was much more advanced than in previous years. In this year's drills, we also used the Iranian made destroyers Dena and Sahand, and domestically built submarines. We showed that the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the Navy, has a high capability in all areas, including technology."
“Most of the equipment used in the Navy has been designed and produced by the Iranian youth and the sons of the Islamic Revolution,” added Rear-Admiral Kaviani.
The main stage of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army's joint military exercise in the Sea of Oman, Indian Ocean, and the Red Sea kicked off on November 7, using the new Army's equipment and ammunition.
