Tehran(IP) - Tehran's 9th Iran-Pakistan Joint Trade Committee (JTC) meeting is underway from 6th to November 7th, 2021.

Iran PressIran News: Reza Fatemi-Amin, Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, and Abdul Razak Dawood, the adviser to the Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment of Pakistan, have co-chaired the meeting to discuss all the latest trade issues.

The two sides are supposed to discuss cooperation in transportation, free trade agreements, the construction of border markets, and other issues impacting bilateral trade.

Officials from the Ministry of Pakistan Customs and the Presidents of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry accompany the advisor during his meeting and trip to Iran.

The 8th Iran-Pakistan Joint Trade Committee was held in mid-July 2019 in Islamabad.

The Iranian Consul General in Quetta, Pakistan, announced plans to hold a joint meeting of the Zahedan and Quetta Chambers of Commerce in the near future to facilitate trade activities and help to remove obstacles to bilateral cooperation.
