Pakistan Prime Minister advisor for Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood

Tehran (IP) - 9th meeting of Joint Iran-Pakistan Trade Committee will be held with the attendance of Pakistan Prime Minister Advisor for Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood.

Iran PressIran News:  Abdul Razak Dawood left Islamabad for Tehran on Friday at the head of a high-profile Pakistani delegation from the Ministry of Commerce who will attend the 9th Pak-Iran Joint Trade Committee meeting in Tehran.

Before departure from Islamabad, Abdul Razak Dawood met with Prime Minister Imran Khan ahead of his visit to Iran and discussed the importance of the vital visit.

After the meeting, Imran Khan's office stated that Abdul Razzak Dawood apprised the PM about his upcoming visit to Iran and its role in improving prospects of regional connectivity and bilateral trade between the two countries.

Imran Khan emphasized the improvement of trade with regional countries and stressed that Pakistan provides all possible support to foreign investors through the "Ease of doing Business" policy.

During his stay in Tehran, Pakistan PM advisor for Commerce and Investment will meet and hold talks with the Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade Raza Fatemi Amin to discuss trade and economic issues and other issues of mutual interests.

According to Ahmad Amirabadi Farahani, the head of the Iran Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Group, which had a meeting in Islamabad with Abdul Razak Dawood, his upcoming visit to Iran will be very important.

Ahmad Amirabadi Farahani, at the head of a senior Iranian delegation, including the member of Iran's Parliament and Iran's President's envoy, attended the eighth meeting of the Pak-Iran Joint Trade Committee in 2019 in Islamabad.

In the last meeting, two sides agreed on forming a joint barter chamber between Iran and Pakistan, which would help boost bilateral trade.
