Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 171 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 125,223.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 24, 2021, 5,860,844 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,416,691 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 9,174 cases, out of whom 1,237 patients were hospitalized.

4,294 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 34,765,163 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 16 cities are red, 119 are orange, 227 are yellow, and 86 are blue zones.

So far, 50,843,578 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 29,503,783 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 80,406,788 doses.
