Tehran (IP) - In a telephone conversation, the Iranian and the Indonesian Foreign Ministers consulted on the international developments.

Iran Press/Iran news: Hossein Amir-Abdllahian and Retno Marsudi discussed the latest developments in bilateral relations and regional and international issues, including Afghanistan.

Amir-Abdullahian condemned the recent purposeful terrorist attack by the US-backed ISIS in Afghanistan and reminded the Taliban of its responsibility to protect the security of ethnic groups and followers of different sects against terrorist acts, stressing the importance of forming an inclusive government in the country.

Recalling the Iran-Indonesia agreements reached during the recent meeting in New York, the Iranian Foreign Minister announced readiness to shore up relations between the two countries further.

Indonesia's Foreign Minister, for his part, said that the necessary recommendations had been made to the Indonesian government agencies to either implement or finalize the agreements at an appropriate pace.

Retno Marsudi also invited his Iranian counterpart to have a visit to Jakarta.
