Tehran (IP)- Referring to Qasem Soleimani and his companions' assassination, Iraqi Minister of Justice stated: "A joint Iran- Iraq committee would be able to bring the perpetrators, and those behind such a heinous act of terrorism, to justice."

Iran PressIran news: Speaking to IP on the sidelines of the meeting with the newly appointed for International Affairs of Iran's Judiciary and Secretary-General of Iran's Human Rights Office, Kazem Gharibabadi, Iraqi Minister of Justice, Salar Abdul Sattar Muhammad underlined: "The committee's investigations have not finished yet and this is up to the supreme judicial Council."

Iraqi Minister also said that his country committed to taking all necessary measures to pursue the case.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Qods Force Commander Lt. Gen. Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), were targeted in a US terrorist attack on January 3, 2020, at Baghdad airport.
