Moscow (IP) - Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said that several issues were on the agenda during his visit to Russia and that the talks were going well.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with the Russia-24 news channel, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, added that in the bilateral dimension, Iran had very useful talks on some issues, including the implementation of the contract for the purchase of fighters, combat helicopters, training jets, exchange of experiences, and training of forces.

General Bagheri referred to the constructive talks on Monday with General Valery Gerasimov, Chief of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, noting that the two countries cooperation in Syria, the eradication of terrorism in order to return full security to Syria, Afghanistan, and developments in the South Caucasus were discussed between the two sides.

He also stated that the relations between Iran and Russia were deepening in all fields.
